Toy scooter is a favorite toy for children. If children often ride scooters, they can exercise their body’s flexibility, improve their reaction speed, increase the amount of exercise and strengthen their body’s resistance. However, there are many kinds of toy scooters, so how to make the inspection for toy scooter? Details are as follows:
Terms and Definitions for Inspection of Electric Scooters
Electric Scooter
It is a low-speed vehicle with battery as power source and driven by DC motor, which cannot be ridden by manpower and is used for leisure, entertainment and transportation.
Inspection Lot
The unit products collected for sampling inspection under the same contract and of the same type and produced under basically the same production conditions are called inspection lot, or lot for short.
Sampling Inspection
It refers to the delivery inspection performed for randomly selected inspection lot.
Inspection Contents of Electric Scooter
Inspection Mode
The inspection is divided into type test and sampling inspection.
Sampling
4.2.1Sampling conditions
4.2.1.1Type test
Type test samples may be drawn during or after lot formation, and the drawn samples shall be representative of the manufacturing level of the cycle.
4.2.1.2 Sampling inspection
The sampling test samples shall be drawn after the lot formation.
4.2.2Sampling scheme
4.2.2.1Type test
Four samples for type test are randomly selected from the products to be inspected.
4.2.2.2 Sampling re-inspection
4.2.2.2.1 Sampling scheme and sampling level
It is performed according to the Normal Sampling Scheme (GB/T2828.1), and the inspection level refers to special inspection level S-3.
4.2.2.2.2 AQL
Acceptance quality limit (AQL)
a) Unqualified Category-A: not allowed;
b) Unqualified Category-B: AQL=6.5;
c) Unqualified Category-C: AQL=15.
4.3 Type Test
The type test shall be carried out in one of the following circumstances:
a) When it is imported or exported for the first time:
b) When the performance of the product may be affected in case of change in the product structure, material, process or main accessories;
c) When the quality is unstable, and it fails to pass the continuous sampling inspection for three times.
Sampling Inspection
Sampling inspection items are as follows:
Maximum speed
Braking performance
Electric safety
Strength of component
Endurance mileage
Maximum riding noise
Motor power
Nominal battery voltage
Braking power-off device
Under-voltage and over-current protection function
Folding mechanism
Static load of the wheel
Saddle adjustment
Tightness of the battery
Electrical components
Assembly quality
Appearance requirements
Surface electroplating parts
Surface paint parts
Anodic oxidation parts of aluminum alloy
Plastic parts
Trademarks, decals and markings
Specification requirements
Determination of Inspection Result
4.5.1 Type test
If the type test results meet the following requirements, it shall be judged as qualified:
a) Category-A test items shall all meet the requirements of this standard;
b) Nine (including 9) of Category-B test items shall meet the requirements of this standard;
c) Six (including 6) of Category-C test items shall meet the requirements of this standard;
d) The unqualified items in the above-mentioned b) and c) are all qualified after rectification.
If the type test results do not meet the requirements of the first three items in 4.5.1.1, it shall be judged as unqualified.
Sampling inspection
If Category-A unqualified items are found, this lot will be judged as unqualified.
If Category-B and Category-C unqualified products are less than or equal to the corresponding judged number of Category-A products, this lot is judged as qualified, otherwise it is unqualified.
V. Disposal of Electric Scooter after Inspection
Type test
5.1.1 Qualified type test
After the type test is qualified, the products represented by the type test may be submitted for sampling inspection.
5.1.2 Unqualified type test
If the type test is unqualified, the products represented by the type test shall be temporarily suspend submission for sampling inspection till the type test is qualified again after rectification and elimination of the reasons for the nonconformity.
When the type test is resubmitted, it can only be carried out on the unqualified items and the items that may be damaged during the rectification process.
Sampling Inspection
5.2.1 Imported product
For unqualified lot, inspection certificate shall be issued.
5.2.2 Exported product
For the qualified lot, the unqualified product found shall be replaced with qualified product.
For the unqualified lot, it shall be re-inspected after rework arrangement.
VI. Others
The validity of the inspection is 12 months under normal storage conditions.
