Inspections in Southeast Asia

Southeast Asia has an advantageous geographical location. It is the crossroad that connects Asia, Oceania, the Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. It is also the shortest sea route and an inevitable passage from Northeast Asia to Europe and Africa. At the same time, it serves as a battleground for both military strategists and business people. Southeast Asia has always been keen on transit trade and it is an important distribution center for goods all around the world. Labor costs are rising yearly in China following the economic development of our country. For the purpose of obtaining greater profits, many European and American companies that had built factories in China are now relocating them in Southeast Asia and building new factories there, since labor costs are relatively cheap. The manufacturing industry in Southeast Asia has developed quite rapidly, especially the labor-intensive textile industry and assembly work. At this stage, Southeast Asia has become one of the most dynamic and promising regions for economic development in the world.

The demand for quality inspections and testing in the manufacturing industry in Southeast Asia has been increasing on a daily basis for some years now due to the will to better meet the product's quality and safety needs in the European and American markets, and the demands of more and more traders. In order to meet these needs, EC has expanded its inspection business to East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia and other countries and regions that could benefit from its services, such as: Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Cambodia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Turkey and Malaysia, among others.

As the main developer of the new inspection model, EC has already started the inspection business in countries located in Southeast Asia, recruiting inspectors and using a brand-new inspection model to benefit the local area. This brand-new method provides an advanced, cost-effective and efficient inspection service experience to more Southeast Asian customers, which is a new starting point for EC's global business development.

For the past few years, China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) have established closer ties, and many Chinese companies have transferred to Southeast Asia seeking development. Following China's development blueprint "One Belt, One Road", we believe that the growth of China and Southeast Asia will reveal longer-term progress.

Thanks to the establishment of the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area, trade exchanges with Southeast Asian countries have become more frequent. Moreover, many trading companies also choose to outsource their orders to factories in Southeast Asian countries, due to the increasing domestic production costs in China. Since production technologies and quality management in Southeast Asian countries are generally lower, it is particularly important to perform quality inspections and testing of Southeast Asia’s import and export products, as well as the products that have been outsourced.

Inspections in Southeast Asia

The reason is precisely the strong demand for third-party testing in the local export industry. In line with the global plan and the development mission of "One Belt One Road", EC has launched inspection services in several countries in Southeast Asia to meet the needs of global business development. We believe that the new model will bring a faster, more convenient and better-priced inspection experience for companies in Southeast Asian countries that require third-party inspections. It will thus become a perfect transition from traditional third-party inspections.
